发明名称 METHOD FOR SURFACE MODIFICATION OF NONDISPERSIBLE METAL NANOPARTICLES AND MODIFIED METAL NANOPARTICLES FOR INKJET BY THE SAME METHOD
摘要 <p>A method for surface modification of non-dispersible metal nanoparticles is provided to prepare surface modified metal nanoparticles with dispersibility by chemically modifying surfaces of the non-dispersible metal nanoparticles such that non-dispersible metal nanoparticles for paste can be used as metal nanoparticles for inkjet, and metal nanoparticles for inkjet of which surfaces are modified by the same are provided. A method for surface modification of non-dispersible metal nanoparticles comprises the steps of: (a) mixing metal nanoparticles comprising an amorphous carbon layer formed on surfaces of the particles with an alcohol- or thiol-based solvent; (b) adding a capping molecule comprising a head part of a carboxy group into the mixture of the step(a) and mixing the capping molecule with the mixture; and (c) separating the metal nanoparticles from the mixture of the step(b). The metal nanoparticles comprising an amorphous carbon layer are prepared by plasma synthesis process. The alcohol- or thiol-based solvent is mixed in an amount of 100 to 5,000 weight parts with respect to 100 weight of the metal nanoparticles. The mixing of the step(a) is performed through the reflux reaction. The method further comprises the steps of adding toluene into the mixture of the step(a) and heating the mixture at a temperature of a boiling point of an alcohol- or thiol-based solvent or higher after performing the step(a).</p>
