PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sound insulation construction improved in a sound insulating effect by efficiently arranging noise absorbing materials. SOLUTION: This sound insulation construction of a vehicle structure on the peripheral side of a wheel is structured by joining an outside cover member 16 for covering a wheel on the outside in the vehicle cross direction and an inside cover member 5 for covering the wheel on the inside in the vehicle cross direction with a separating member 4 for separating the cabin inside and the cabin outside from each other in a side surface of the vehicle.
