PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straddle type vehicle with a seat that pops up by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This motorcycle 10 is provided with a double seat assembly 100 having its front end 100a locked by a seat coupling part 71, on which a rider and a fellow rider are seated. This double seat assembly 100 can be deformed elastically toward the vertical direction of the motorcycle 10, and is locked by a seat lock 150 in a state of being bent in the vertical direction in a locked state.
