PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an osmotic seal which keeps the printing ink amount proper at all times by solving the problem of the displacement of air of sealing material consumed by the stamping of the osmotic seal and of he dimensional dispersions of the thicknesses of the sealing and of an ink occluding body and, at the same time, shortens a whetting process and consequently contrives to reduce cost. SOLUTION: Air expelled from the sealing material 2 at stamping and air alloting to ink expelled from the ink occluding body 3 are refilled to the sealing material 2 and the ink occluding body 3 by providing an air flowing groove 3a in the ink occluding body 3 so as to pass through the occluding body 3 from its front surface to its rear surface in order to directly guiding the airs to the rear surface of the sealing material 2. In addition, under the condition that the sealing material 2 and the ink occluding body 3 are in a pressingly contacted together by being pinched between the protrusion 7 at the inner peripheral bottom part of an inner joint 5 and the receiving part at the tip of a ring 6, the flange part 10 of the inner point 5 and the rear end part 6b of the ring 6 are so constituted as to have a clearance S therebetween.
