PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for producing a thermoplastic resin film, which achieve recycle of a waste film produced in a process of producing the thermoplastic film without spoiling quality and production efficiency.SOLUTION: While a film in which a coating film is provided on at least one surface of a substrate film molded by melt extrusion is run, a rotary brush having fur made of metal fiber is brought into contact with the coating film and the coating film is removed. In such a case, a wrap angle between the rotary brush and the substrate film is set to be 20° or larger and a surface speed of the rotary brush is set to be 10-300 times a running film speed. |
