The invention relates to a method and a device for ultra-precision machining of a Fresnel lens describing a rotationally asymmetrical optical free-form surface superposed on a planar or curved area. In order to achieve said aim, the Fresnel lens is manufactured by having a diamond tool perform turning and planing operations. |
