PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back pad for a seat with backboard specifications, improving the exterior appearance of a backrest part of the seat, especially the exterior appearance of a periphery of a back board by hardly causing molding failure.SOLUTION: A back pad for a seat constitutes a backrest part of a vehicle seat provided with an inward overhang part on a back side of a pad body formed of soft foam and including a backboard at the back. A flange part 20 extended toward the inside of the pad body in the overhang part includes: a thick part; a thin part 26 caving in forward to be thin for receiving an edge part of the backboard at the forward end side of the thick part 22; and a step part 24 provided between the thick part 22 and the thin part 26. A projection 40 formed by a recessed part 65 provided on a molding die surface 62 forming the step part 24 in the molding die and air K accumulated in the recessed part 65 is formed on the step part 24. |
