Provided is an environmentally-friendly monument, comprising a base body (1) and a monument body (2), wherein the monument body (2) is vertically arranged on the base body (1), and a bone ash adhesive plate (3) made of bone ash is arranged on a side wall face of the monument body (2). Further provided at the same time is a method for manufacturing the environment-friendly monument, comprising the following steps of: S1: manufacturing a satisfactory monument body and monument base; S2: mounting the monument body onto the monument base; and S3: manufacturing a bone ash adhesive plate from bone ash and adhering the bone ash adhesive plate to a side wall face of the monument body.
