This method for producing a joined structure provided with a joining area in which a resin member and the outer surface of a metal member are joined is provided with: a recessed-section forming step in which recessed sections having openings are formed in the metal member in the joining area; a pressing step in which the resin member is brought into contact with the metal member in the joining area by pressing a protruded part, which protrudes from the surface of the resin member, such that the outer surface of the metal member is surrounded; and a joining step in which the resin member including the protruded part is melted, the recessed sections of the metal member are filled therewith, and the resin member is joined to the recessed sections of the metal member. |
