Disclosed are a two-way dual beacon device which transmits different kinds of beacon devices, extends the support range of a terminal, and has a communication function to add new usage by using a beacon, and a method for operating the two-way dual beacon device. The two-way dual beacon device according to the present invention may comprise a first controller for transmitting the first beacon signal of short-range wireless communication, and a transmission control part which prevents a transmission timing of the first beacon signal from overlapping a transmission timing of the second beacon signal for wireless LAN communication.
