PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a docking device that can easily implement connector connection to a portable information apparatus including a connecting terminal at a side face and improve theft prevention performances, and an information apparatus system including the docking device.SOLUTION: A docking device 10 comprises: a connector 30 that includes an apparatus placement part 36 on which a portable information apparatus 12 is placed, and that is connectable by forward/backward moving with respect to a connecting terminal 26 provided on a side face 16a of the portable information apparatus 12 that is placed on the apparatus placement part 36; and a lock pin 32 that forward/backward moves with respect to an engagement hole 28 provided on the side face 16a of the portable information apparatus 12 that is placed on the apparatus placement part 36. A forward/backward moving mechanism 46 moves the connector 30 and the lock pin 32 forward/backward so as to connect the connector 30 to the connecting terminal 26 and to engage the lock pin 32 to the engagement hole 28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
