The control method for the refrigerator (60) comprises: after a door closing signal of the refrigerator (60) is acquired, starting a capacity detection device (620) in a storage compartment (400) of the refrigerator (60) to detect the used capacity of the storage compartment (400); comparing the detected used capacity and the used capacity before a door of the refrigerator (60) is closed; and if the detected used capacity is larger than the used capacity before the door is closed, driving a cold source of the storage compartment (400) to operate with large power, so that the refrigerator (60) enters into a rapid cooling mode. In the solution, detection assemblies (100) are disposed in the storage compartment (400), the used capacity of the storage compartment (400) of the refrigerator (60) is detected by means of an optical principle, the detection result is precise, and a door body of the refrigerator (60) does not need to be opened, thereby improving the use experience of a user, and keeping a good food storage environment. |
