PURPOSE: A core member for a weather strip of a vehicle and an apparatus for manufacturing thereof are provided to prevent the deformation of a bent wire from external force acting in every direction, and improve extrusion productivity by having rigidity enduring various external forces applied during an extrusion process. CONSTITUTION: A core member for a weather strip of a vehicle comprises a bent wire(100), a straight wire(200), and a welding portion(300). The bent wire is formed to be bent multiple times in zigzag form on a plane in order to be extended in the length direction having a metal wire in a fixed width. The straight wire is arranged linearly for at least two straight lines to be close but separated on the lower side of the bent wire along the length direction of the bent wire. The welding portion is formed by welding between the bent wire and the straight wire, and attaches the straight wire on the lower side of the bent wire. |
