<p>The method relates to the concentration of solid wastes dispersed in a liquid medium drastically reducing the risk of carry-over of the particles into the evaporated liquid; the method comprises: - drawing off the liquid from a settling tank, - sending it to concentrator equipment to achieve the evaporation of a percentage of water which can be determined in advance in relation to the degree of intended thickening of the liquid, - successive oxidation of the air/evaporated liquid phase mixture, evaporation of the liquid phase being achieved within concentrator equipment in which the liquid is sprayed and mixed with a flow of evaporator fluid, evaporation of the liquid phase taking place in at least one zone of the concentrator equipment in which a pressure less than ambient pressure is maintained; application in discharge for the disposal of seepage. <IMAGE></p> |
