PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to the sealing member even when the connector housing is handled as a single unit when mounting the sealing member for waterproofing between the poles. SOLUTION: A moving plate 40, which has a supporting hole 43 for inserting a tab 25 of the male terminal fitting 24, is inserted movably in the hood portion 22 of the male housing 20. Sealing layers 50A, 50B are formed in one body by two tone color forming on both front and rear surface of the moving plate 40. A penetrating hole 51, which corresponds to the supporting hole 43, is formed in both sealing layers 50A, 50B. When both housings 10, 20 are correctly engaged through a moving plate 40 interposed between them, the front side sealing layer 50A is compressed between the front surface of the female housing and the rear side sealing layer 50B is compressed between the inner end face of the hood portion 22 and the moving plate respectively, and waterproofing between the poles for sealing each pair of cavities 11, 23 of the both housings are made and both housings 10, 20 are also waterproofed.
