PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selection circuit for bus form and CPU system of Arcnet controller by which an Arcnet controller can surely be operated. SOLUTION: Immediately after activation, an address for selection from an address generation circuit 18 and an Arcnet controller control signal for selection from an Arcnet controller control signal generation circuit 20 are respectively supplied through switching circuits 22 and 24 to the Arcnet controller 16 and the bus form and the CPU system are selected. Thereafter, on the basis of a switching signal from a switching signal generation circuit 26, the address and the Arcnet controller control signal from a PCI interface circuit 14 are respectively supplied through the switching circuits 22 and 24 to the Arcnet controller 16 and the Arcnet controller 16 is shifted to be under the control of a PCI bus 12.
