PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell of which the performance is high and the life is long which can prohibit leakage of liquid fuel due to a rise of an internal pressure in a fuel vessel by carbonic acid gas caused from a cell reaction in the fuel cell using a liquid fuel. SOLUTION: It is characterized by opposing a fuel pole 2 to an oxide agent pole 3 to supply liquid fuel of mixed methanol with water to the fuel pole 2, thereby supplying air to the oxide agent pole 3, wherein the between the fuel pole 2 and the oxide agent pole 3 is arranged an electrolyte plate 1. It is characterized by arranging a film 10 for separating carbonic acid gas and liquid fuel in a fuel vessel 5 to react fuel with air through the electrolyte film 1, thereby exhausting only the carbonic acid gas caused within the fuel vessel 10 by the separating film to prohibit the internal pressure of the fuel vessel from being rising and the liquid fuel from being leakage from the fuel cell. |
