PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental infrared irradiation type melting device, melting or softening wax which is heat melting material or heat melting resin. SOLUTION: In this dental infrared irradiation type melting device, an infrared irradiation unit is installed with an irradiation port up, a reflector umbrella 2 is provided in the periphery of a near infrared lamp 1, a metallic heat conducting bar 3 is provided in a position where the infrared rays are applied, and a wax melting tray 4 is provided on the other side of the heat conducting bar, and controlled by a control unit 7.
