PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for desulfurizing a ferro-nickel by which in the method for desulfurizing raw ferro-nickel, after charging the molten raw ferro-nickel tapped from a reducing furnace into a ladle provided with a stirring device using stirring blades, the desulfurizing agent is charged and the sulfur in this molten metal is fixed into slag and removed, the setting position of the stirring blades in a ladle is adjusted so that the upper end parts of the stirring blades come out to the upper part from the surface of the molten metal. SOLUTION: In the ladle, the setting position of the stirring blades is characterized to adjust so that the upper end parts of the stirring blades come out to the upper part from the surface of the molten metal.
