<p>The invention relates to a method for producing a profile from a sheet-metal strip, in which method the sheet-metal strip is bent at least twice during a first stage, wherein, as viewed in the cross section of the sheet-metal strip, a center section is formed and two flank sections are formed that project angularly from two opposing end regions of the center section, and during a second stage following the first stage, the center section is compressed by means of two complementary roller arrangements that engage on the two opposing end regions of the center section, and the sheet-metal strip is thereby locally thickened.</p> |
