The present invention provides an organic light emitting diode display device and an encapsulation method thereof that can prevent an increase in the manufacturing time and complexity of the manufacturing process. The organic light emitting diode display device, according to the present invention, comprises: first and second substrates disposed to face each other; and a filling layer disposed therebetween. The first substrate includes an active area and a bezel area disposed outside the active area, and includes an organic light emitting diode layer and a protection layer that covers the organic light emitting diode layer. The filling layer includes a first area and a second area. The first area of the filling layer has a first hardness and is located in the bezel area so as to be spaced a predetermined distance apart from the protection layer to surround the protection layer. The second area has a second hardness lower than the first hardness and is located inside the first area to adjoin the first area.
