A switching method and terminal among multiple systems. The method is applied to the terminal. The terminal comprises at least one first operating system and second operating system. The method comprises: receiving a starting instruction for a shortcut icon of an application program on the first operating system; inquiring the operating system for installing the application program according to a stored correspondence between the application program and the operating system, the operating system being one of the at least one first operating system and second operating system (S102); and switching to the inquired first operating system or second operating system according to an inquiry result to execute the operation on the application program (S103). Also disclosed is a corresponding terminal. By adopting the technical solution of the switching method and terminal among multiple systems, the automatic switching among multiple systems can be realized, the user operation is facilitated, and the application operation security is improved.
