PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of quickly discover a terminal waiting to be discovered using a D2D communication terminal.SOLUTION: A communication system comprises a server, a base station, and a plurality of communication terminals capable of end-to-end communication. Each of the plurality of communication terminals is able to transmit a discovery signal to notify an opposite terminal of the presence of itself without going through the base station. A first communication terminal out of the plurality of communication terminals transmits emergency information related to an emergency with a discovery signal therein. When a second communication terminal out of the plurality of communication terminals receives the discovery signal including the emergency information from the first communication terminal, it transmits first information corresponding to the received discovery signal to the server via the base station. When the server receives the first information from the second communication terminal, it transmits first notification information corresponding to the received first information to the first communication terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
