The invention relates to a maintenance flap (1) for a domestic appliance (14), in particular a tumble dryer, comprising a closing body (2) having at least one access opening (3), by which a maintenance opening of a housing (15) of the domestic appliance (14) can be closed, and at least one actuating element (4) which is disposed on the closing body (2) so as to be movable between a rest position and an actuating position. In the rest position of the actuating element the actuating element closes the access opening (3) and in the actuating position of the actuating element the actuating element at least partially frees the access opening (3). In order to provide a maintenance flap (1) which simplifies handling of a domestic appliance (14) and reduces the production costs thereof, according to the invention the actuating element (4) is fastened on opposing sides in each case via at least one lateral spring arm (6) to a rear face (7) of the closing body (2) facing an interior of the housing (15), wherein force is applied to the actuating element (4) in the direction of the rest position of the actuating element by means of the spring arms (6). |
