<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems and methods for preparation of implant materials which enable compatible tissue augmentation. <P>SOLUTION: Implants comprise gels having specific compatibility and stability at a tissue implant site; and controlled and proper tissue in-growth to implement integration into the tissue, minimized immuno-histo tissue response, and improved mechanical and visual appearance. A polysaccharide gel composition is prepared with rheological characteristics selected for a specific selected application. The method includes a step of preparing a polymeric polysaccharide in a buffer liquid to generate gel suspended properties in a polymer solution or gel, and a step of selecting a rheology profile for a desired tissue region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
