PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plates capable of being smoothly connected together and hardly removed in a connected state. SOLUTION: A surface decorative material 20 is stuck to the surface of a base material 10 to form a rectangular plate. A surface side cut section is formed at one end section of the long side, and a back face side cut section is formed at the opposite other end section, respectively. A female tongue 13 is formed on the end face 11a of the surface side cut section, and a male tongue 14 is formed on the tip face 10b of one end section having the back face side cut section, respectively. A recess 15 is formed on the lower face of the surface side cut section, and a projection 16 is formed on the upper face of the back face side cut section, respectively. In the connected state of the plates 1, a gap S1 capable of pulling the end section having the back face side cut section 12 downward is formed between the lower face on the tip section side of the male tongue 14 and the female tongue 13, and a gap S2 is formed between the inclined face 15a of the recess 15 and the inclined face 16a of the projection 16 facing the inclined face 15a.
