The invention relates to contact devices of chemical industry and can be used within plate column absorbers primarily for purifying gases by physical absorption at higher foaming absorbent. A plate with two zones of phase contact comprises a perforated bed with overflow devices comprising discharge nozzles in the form of truncated cones with cylindrical overflow thresholds at their upper part and are equipped with fender discs in their lower part. The overflow devices of plate are equipped with vertical walls to be installed coaxially with the overflow thresholds with an annular gap from the side of perforated bed. The invention provides for increase of the range of stable operation of a plate and reduction of its diametrical and height dimensions.
