PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for simulation of a tire model capable of obtaining the similar result to the result of a case for carrying out a drum test. SOLUTION: The method of simulation of a tire model to simulate the performance of the tire model by using the tire model of modeling a pneumatic tire having at least a tread part by finite elements includes a step of preparing a road surface model in which a road surface with the pneumatic tire being brought into contact with the ground is modeled by finite elements, and the road surface model is shaped annular.
