A method of fabricating an expandable tubular member 800 includes providing a tubular member comprising a first end 802, a second end 804, and an intermediate portion 806. The first and second ends are radially expanded. Then, at least one of two steps is carried out: a scaling member 812 is applied to the outside diameter of the intermediate portion; and/or circumferentially spaced apart radial projections (1208, fig 17) are formed on the intermediate portion. A sealing member may be applied to the exterior of the projections. |
