A sling seat includes a base cloth 11 which extends to the head of a person sitting in the sling seat, and a vertically adjustable pillow or head rest 16 for supporting a back of the head of the person so that the back of the head does not sink into the upper portion of the base cloth 11. The pillow is attached to an upper portion of the base cloth, and a vertical position of the pillow can be adjusted to match the actual body size of the person requiring nursing care in the seat, preferably by wrapping the base cloth around the pillow (Figure 3). Straps 18 19 may hang the sling seat and there may also two straps attached to the pillow 21 to attach this portion to the other straps (Figure 1). |
