<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a child seat capable of being firmly held in an occupant's seat of a vehicle by an easy-to-operate internal harness. <P>SOLUTION: The child seat 100 includes a seat shell 102 which includes a lock 116 and an anchor strap formed of a continuous web member. The anchor strap has two ends and the intermediate part positioned between the two ends. The two ends are provided with fasteners which are arranged on the backside of the seat shell and can be attached to an anchor structure of a vehicle, respectively, and the intermediate part is folded back on itself to demarcate two segments of the web member. The lock can tighten a part of the two segments to be releasable, and the intermediate part is elongated outward from the lock to demarcate a loop tab 122. In addition, the inside of the seat shell can be provided with a strap guiding structure which includes two sidewalls for demarcating a passage for the web member.
