A shop management system and a method thereof for minimizing a construction cost of a system are provided to perceive movement lines of a customer in a shop by using PAN communication and a mobile communication terminal mounted with an NFC reader, thereby minimizing a construction cost of a system. A client tag has movability of a shopping client in a shop and customer identification information. A product tag has product identification information corresponding to products displayed in the shop. A mobile communication terminal(200) is embedded with a tag reader for reading in the customer identification information and the product identification information through local area network communication with the client tag and the product tag. An application server(410) obtains mobile communication subscriber information corresponding to a terminal identifier in a mobile communication system if the terminal identifier of the mobile communications terminal, the product identification information, and the customer identification information are received. A store management server(320) grasps movement lines of the shopping client. |
