A payment system and a method of an affiliated card through temporary approval are provided to enable an affiliated card issuing institution to minimize necessary time for issuing an affiliated card of a plurality of card companies by accepting a mode of renting a fixed amount of card numbers through an en-block system or real-time system through temporary approval. A payment system and a method of an affiliated card through temporary approval comprise the following steps. A use limit setting unit sets use limit amount information of an affiliated card provided from an affiliated company. A use limit confirming unit confirms the use limit amount information of the affiliated card. A wire or wireless payment is temporarily approved when a payment is less than or the same as the use limit amount. A storage unit stores at least one piece of information about temporary approval. The at least one piece of information about temporary approval is transmitted to a server of a card company to request actual approval. |
