PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for creating a landscape picture capable of displaying, by using a GPS, a landscape seen in an arbitrary direction from an arbitrary point on a display device together with the information of the objects seen in the landscape by line drawing and the like. SOLUTION: The device for creating a landscape picture is constituted of: a GPS terminal 12; a memory 13 recording three-dimensional map information received from the GPS 11; a central arithmetic and control unit 14 in which a landscape picture creating program is installed and which performs arithmetic operation on the basis of the three-dimensional map information received from the GPS and in accordance with the program for creating a landscape picture to acquire data for displaying landscape contours in the landscape picture; an input device 15 connected to a CPU; a display device 16 displaying a desired landscape contour picture on the basis of the result of the arithmetic operation of the CPU; a signal conversion circuit 17 processing the data acquired by the CPU to make the display device display the landscape contour picture; and a controller 19 controlling the position and attitude of the GPS terminal.
