PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle capable of matching with a proper battery capacity in accordance with the use situation of a user.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle has a battery device 10 accommodating a predetermined maximum number of sets of a plurality of battery modules 11, a motor driven by power supplied from the battery device 10, and a controller 40 that controls drive power supplied to the motor. The battery device 10 is formed of an arbitrary number of battery modules 11 in one or more and a predetermined number or smaller according to the number at which the battery modules 11 are accommodated.
