The invention relates to a mini-split-type refrigeration system incorporating an ozone generator device for the disinfection of air. The ozone generator device comprises an alternating voltage source (1), a transformer (2) and a pair of electrode plates (3, 5) separated by a dielectric material (4). In addition, the refrigeration system comprises a compressor (12), a condenser (13), a heat-dissipating fan (14), an expansion valve (15), an evaporator (16), a recirculation fan (17), a temperature sensor (S1), an ozone sensor (S2), a pyroelectric presence sensor (S3), a timer (23) and a controller (11). An air duct (20) linked to a gate (21) actuated by an electric motor (22) connects the recirculation air suction side of the evaporator (16) to the outside, such that, when the pyroelectric sensor (S3) detects the presence of people, the controller (11) sends a signal to open said gate (21) and renew the air of the room. |
