The invention relates to a heating device comprising at least one module that heats by heat diffusion under the effect of an electric potential, which module is received in a housing in such a way that it engages electrical connecting means of a vehicle. The heating device comprises a locking element (1) for locking the position of the heating modules in relation to the housing. The locking element is mounted on the housing crosswise to the heating modules such that it is in a locking position in which it is held in position by virtue of being secured to the housing and in which the first indexing element (80) of the locking element is designed to cooperate with a second indexing element (52) provided in and/or on each of the electrodes. A heating device of this kind is particularly suited for arrangement in the duct of a ventilation, heating and/or air-conditioning system.
