PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a fiber board having excellent bending strength, excellent peeling strength, and an excellent hygroscopic expansion coefficient of thickness and also excellent nail holding force.SOLUTION: A method for producing a fiber board includes heating and pressure molding of a fiber mat formed from plant fiber. In the method, the plant fiber is mixed with saccharides and then acids to form a fiber mat, and the formed fiber mat is subjected to heating and pressure molding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
