PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover the exhaust energy of a diesel engine when an exhaust recirculation device is stopped.SOLUTION: A power device includes: a diesel engine; an exhaust recirculation device for compressing part of exhaust gas of the diesel engine and then supplying the exhaust gas to an intake pipe of the diesel engine; a supercharger driven by exhaust gas to compress air to be supplied to the diesel engine; an exhaust energy recovery device for recovering energy from exhaust gas; and an exhaust control section for adjusting the amount of supply of exhaust gas to be supplied to the supercharger and the exhaust recirculation device. When the exhaust control section stops supply of exhaust gas to the exhaust recirculation device, driving of the exhaust energy recovery device is started.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
