PURPOSE: A clean diesel fuel composition having reduced emissions of various pollutants containing aromatic polymers as well as oxides of nitrogen as compared to conventional diesel fuels as well as maintaining lubricating properties of diesel oil added vegetable oil by using a carbonating compound in place of a nitrogen compound as a dispersing agent is provided which can be widely used for fuels which are environmentally favorable. CONSTITUTION: The clean diesel fuel composition comprises low sulfur light oil with a sulfur content of 500ppm or less, 0.004 to 6.0 parts by weight of vegetable oil based on 100 parts by weight of the low sulfur light oil and 0.004 to 5.0 parts by weight of a carbonate compound of formula (1). In formula, R1 and R2 are a saturated or unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon containing 1 to 22 carbons, aromatic hydrocarbon or alcohol; or a compound containing 1 to 22 carbons therein and containing ester and ether function groups. The vegetable oil contains aliphatic acid methylester or a mixture having an aliphatic acid monoglyceride content of 40% by weight and containing aliphatic acid ethylester, aliphatic acid monoglyceride, aliphatic diglyceride and aliphatic acid triglyceride. |
