PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rigidity of a bevel gear box and incorporate a bevel gear and input/output shafts easily. SOLUTION: In this bevel gear box 110 capable of storing an inlet side bevel gear 104 provided coaxially with an input shaft 102 and an outlet side bevel gear 106 engaged with the inlet side bevel gear 104, an opening 150 for the outlet side bevel gear to which the outlet side bevel gear 106 can be inserted is formed on a surface through which an output shaft 108 can penetrate, and an output side lid 152 for covering the opening 150 is disposed on the opening 150. An opening 118 for the output shaft through which the output shaft 108 can penetrate is formed on the output side lid 152 side.
