The invention concerns a heating system for solid lump fuels, in particular wood shavings or pellets (100). Said system comprises a transport device (3, 18) driven by a control device (24) and a toboggan (8) designed for the lump fuel, which is supplied by the transport device and emerges in a combustion chamber (9). The invention aims at enabling easy detection of a pile-up of the wood pellets (100). Therefor, the toboggan (8) is associated, proximate the combustion chamber (9), with a detector (7) enabling the fuel load of the toboggan (8) to be detected and comprises an evaluation circuit (22) equipped with a threshold value element, in particular a time element (23) which is connected to the control device (24) of the transport unit and/or the signal generating unit (50) which, in case the threshold is exceeded, delivers a signal to said unit. |
