<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical beacon capable of inexpensively and appropriately forming a downlink area having a desired size. <P>SOLUTION: A beacon head 2 includes a housing 2a having a transparent widow plate 15, a substrate 9 stored in the housing 2a, a light projection unit 7 composed of a plurality of LEDs 7a which emit downlink light DO in an optical axis direction passing the window plate 15 arranged on the substrate 9 in a plane shape, and a transparent optical plate 20 arranged in the housing 2a at a side toward the light emission side of the light projection unit 7. The optical plate 20 forms the downlink area having the desired size to the road R side by changing the direction of a part or whole of the downlink light DO entering by the light emission of the plurality of LEDs 7a toward the optical plate 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
