PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display panel and a method of manufacturing the panel in which corrosion or the like of a metal thin film having a terminal can be suppressed. SOLUTION: The display panel includes a common wiring line 4 having a first terminal 5 fabricated on a TFT array substrate 30, a first transparent conductive film 6 formed on the common wiring line 4, an interlayer insulating film 15 formed on the first transparent conductive film 6 and having a first terminal contact hole 17 outside a display region 54 and inside a sealing material 50, and a terminal pad 20 formed on the interlayer insulating film 15 and electrically connected to the common wiring line 4 through the first transparent conductive film 6 at the first terminal contact hole 17.
