PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to slide a slide mechanism smoothly by adding a twist to a structure of the slide mechanism, and to allow users to operate comfortably by increasing a sliding amount and arranging a display in a first housing in maximum size. SOLUTION: A first housing having a display on a surface thereof and a second housing 3 having a functional button 8 and an input button 7 on a surface thereof are provided to a slide type mobile telephone equipment. The first housing and the second housing 3 are coupled slidably by a slide mechanism 10. A slide frame 11 is formed on the other surface of the first housing, and a slide rail 14 is formed at both ends of the slide frame 11. An elastic member 12 is arranged along the slide rail 14 on a surface of the slide frame 11. A sliding part 17, which has an engaging part 15 engaging with the slide rail 14, and a pushing part 16 by sliding the elastic member 12, at the second housing 3 surface side, and which couples the first housing 2 and the second housing 3, is provided.
