PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of adjusting a color converting parameter, which adjusts a color converting parameter of a color conversion device accurately and quickly. SOLUTION: The method of adjusting the color converting parameter includes: aγcharacteristic measuring step S10 of measuring theγcharacteristic of a display device; a color converting parameter adjusting step S20 of adjusting the color converting parameter based on theγcharacteristic measurement value; a color space simulation step S30 of converting a predetermined video signal using the color converting parameter and theγcharacteristic measurement value and performing simulation of a color space of the display device; and an evaluation step of evaluating the measurement value, which was computed at the color space simulation process. When it is determined that there is a fault at the evaluation step, the color converting parameter is adjusted at the color converting parameter adjusting step S20, and until it is determined that there is no fault, the color converting parameter adjusting step S20, the color space simulation step S30, and the evaluation step are repeated and color converting parameter is adjusted.
