摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow authentication between communication equipment on a controlled side and one on a controlling side and to reduce considerably standby power consumption of the communication equipment on the controlled side in a remote control system. SOLUTION: The communication equipment 100 on the controlled side and the communication equipment 200 on the controlling side can communicate in two communication methods 1 and 2, and a transmission/reception part 130 on the controlled side using the communication method 2 has power supply stopped on standby state. A reception rectifying part 110 and a judgement part 150 on the controlled side using the communication method 1 comprise an MOS transistor of diode connection, a current mirror circuit, or complementary type MOS transistor circuit, and makes theoretical standby power consumption zero. The communication equipment 100 on the controlled side sends a start control signal including authentication information, while the judgement part 150 performs control so that a power supply control unit 170 may supply power for the transmission/reception part 130 only when the judgement part judges success in authentication.
