<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type rotary electrical machine which is capable of improving efficiency while reducing a cogging torque. <P>SOLUTION: An electric motor 1 comprises a stator 10 which is configured by laminating silicon steel plates as electromagnetic steel plates and includes a stator core 11, and a rotor 20 which is provided to be freely rotatable while being opposed to the stator 10 and includes a rotor core 21. When a plate thickness of the silicon steel plate is defined as d (mm), an Si content of the silicon steel plate is defined as s (mass%) and a space factor in the overall stator core is defined as r (%), the silicon steel plate is configured to simultaneously meet three expressions of d≥0.05, s≥5d and s≤(5/3)d+(1/5)r-18.1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
