The dishwasher (100) has a rinsing container (110) lockable by a door (120). A vapor shield (150) is arranged at a work plate (200) provided in an area of an upper side of the dishwasher for heating a section of the work plate. A noise reducing layer (130) e.g. damping-, insulation- and/or sound deadening layer, is arranged on the container, where the vapor shield is present at the layer. The vapor shield has a contact section (151) for making contact with the container, and a connection section (152) that connects the former contact section with another contact section (153). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an arrangement of a dishwasher and a work plate (2) a method for avoiding condensation liquid formation in a work plate. |
