PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removing method of a rotor by which the rotor 102 can be removed easily from a housing 103.SOLUTION: A removing method of a rotor using a rotor removing device 1 for removing the rotor 102 housed in a housing 103 includes: an outward process in which a boosting mechanism part 30 receiving operation of rotating a handle 31a arranged on one end upward moves a holding mechanism part 40 downward; a holding member separation process in which the boosting mechanism part 30 separates a pair of holding members 42 by further upward rotation of the handle 31a; a holding process in which the boosting mechanism part 30 receiving operation of rotating the handle 31a downward makes the pair of holding members 42 come close to each other to hold the rotor 102; and a return process in which the boosting mechanism part 30 increases input load to the handle 31a by further downward rotation of the handle 31a, and converts into tension load to move the holding mechanism part 40 upward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
